So I started this blog and then...

It's funny how life works.  You can never make any plans!  I started this blog in hopes of sharing who I am and keeping a kind of an "online diary" of me.  HA!

As soon as I started this blog my life went into high gear.  Oh my! I have been so damn busy!  Have started projects and learned new recipes.  People in my life started needing more of my time.  I think I have finally found the balance.  I hope.

I did find a part time job from home that pays decent enough.  We will see how that goes.

I don't have many followers here, if any, and I am ok with that.  For now.If you are reading this blog, I do ask that you introduce yourself by leaving a comment so that we can get to know each other, if we don't already. Thanks and have an awesome Hump Day!

  2. Aaawwww!!! Thank you! I have to be honest, it hasn't been easy finding that balance. It took almost a year of not working to really figure everything out and make it flow kind of smoothly. Priorities change, people come and go... But, as long as you take it with your head held high and always have a good attitude, it is amazing how much you can accomplish.

  3. Hello! I completely understand about starting a blog with the best intentions only to get too dang busy. Had that happen to me with www.likeablestuff.com and two others (which are about different things, so different blogs). Yeah, and I work full-time 45 minutes away from home, and I have a disabled husband with doctor appointments, one car, a dad with dementia and leukemia who I manage his health stuff and started grad school last January. And, just what was I thinking? lol At least no kids other than my dad and husband! :-) Best of luck to you!

I'd love to learn more about finding a job working from home that pays decent enough. This is one of my goals. I'm a Data Analyst adminning the SAP BPC product for my employer - in office. Can't seem to find remote work that pays anything with my skillset (I am not a programmer/developer; I just muddle through what's necessary in that regard), but it seems to me that it should be out there... All I know is if I have to keep going in to the office every day and working long hours, even flexible as they are now (which is a godsend, with all the family medical appointments), I want to make a buttload more money (hence the gradschool).

    Thoughts?
